The World and the web is over loaded with Druidic Revival, a real 'Pic & Mix'. So tread carefully and do not just go with the flow but give it all some serious thought, as to how we might get some real radical Welsh Druidry restored and back on track the way Iolo might have wished, and I am not talking about that Eisteddfod Gorsedd stuff. That's more like a kind of 'Broderbond' (Brawdwriaeth) if you get my drift, but not racist of course, possibly more near a Cymric Crachach Free Masonary than anything else.
.
My thinking on Iolo's Gorsedd was that he may have sought to establish a more Politically Radical Republican 'Gorsedd' , and with his restored Druidry as something more than what it lent it self to in Wales. Maybe Iolo had a popular secret 'Invisible' Government in mind? or certainly a grathering more of Radical Cymry than the Brit Loyalist 'Tame Taffs' of Romantic Cultural Nationalism, as bodies such as Y Cymmrodorion etc?
.
At
the same time whilst there is a lot of good stuff out there revived, restored and ''invented'' by the followers of a reshaped Druidry of 18th Century Romanticism, there is also plenty of 'dreamy' and 'greeny' stuff that may leave a lot to be desired, but lets not get too heavy about this. However, I am thinking along the lines of a more Cymric Political Druidry, and I believe the closest coming to this are the Bretons. Thus I suggest looking in that direction for inspiration but in the mean time why not dip into the pages of the magazine 'PAGAN DAWN' for a good read and excellent provider of Information and inspiration.

.
Don't forget, Primrose Hill Sunday 21 June 'midsummers day' to greet the dawn and also have yourselves a Pagan Picnic close to the newly placed Iolo Morgannwg Commemorative Memorial. Following 'Midsummer' next best gathering day for Cymric Druids will be at Tafarn Cynan under Mynydd Carn Boduon, near Nefyn to celebrate Lughnasadha on 1 Awst.
