He would have given Lizzie a good run around that's for sure! This fella did a lot for Wales as providing us with the Investiture of 1911 of which no doubt the Royal Borough of Caernarfon will want to commemorate and celebrate in 2011 - This 1911 Investiture was on a Thursday 13th July of that year, so expect a festival of more 'Taffy Brit' Foolishness!

However, note Pwca are planning and preparing for a major two week as from 1st July 2011 'Carlo Carnival' of 'Meyhem & Mischief' to help the 'Gogs' jump out of their 'cultural nationalist Box' and just maybe ditch a lot of the safe and softly 'Victoriana' with which they are much obsessed to the point of their distraction and at same time sending the rest of us to sleep with shameless 'Saxon Silver' Grant Grabbing for a 'Welsh Language Industry', inc 'Shameless S4C. 'Cymru Cymraeg' desperatly needs an 'Alternative Radical Counter Culture', methinks! this is more likly to arise out of 'Working Class' towns as Blaenau Ffestiniog rather than the 'Cefn Gwlad' Backlands?
On the whole it seems this 'Welsh Language Industry' has done more to serve and sustain a surplus non productive Bourgeoise cultural rural right that would have otherwise disappeared down the drain of history, instead we have a 'Crachach Newydd' that now deserts their Fro Cymraeg for the rich life in their Cardiff 'Pontcanna Patagoinia' with satillite sub colonies in Bae Caerdydd and Bontfaen aka Gowbridge. The truth is, if per chance the British Empire had survived they would have turned their backs on their Cymru aka Wales (HHHhhhmm!!! Ioan Gruffydd. Mathew Rhys et al in Llos Angeles?) to become Teachers, Missionaries and general useful 'Taff Toadies' for the English Imperialists. Ain't that the truth!!!
.Just look where being a 'Big Brit' can get you, see for the 1911 Investiture, saving us fromn the Hun and beating up the Irish, 'Lusty Lloyd' got a statue just where it suits him best under Eleanors Gate - Caernarfon Castle above the 'Old Goat'. At our first Anti - Investiture Demo in 1968, I tried to organise for this to be pulled down but some one left the rope in the pub and then patriots go and climb up the wrong statue, fiasco followed, never mind had some fun and, at least we did have a great Anti - Investiture Protest against intended Investitures of another English Princes of Wales. Did it again in 1983 and blockaded Castell Harlech in 1977, that makes it thrice. Do I have to do it again? I hope not! I do not really want to have to make another Agit - Prop outing to Caernarfon, surely the Northerners can deal with this. I can then go somewhere else with not so much travelling, as maybe some symbolic protest in Caerdydd?
