ROMANS GO HOME! A Salute To Siluria - It took the Romans 70 Years to defeat the Silurians.......

.
A 'SALUTE TO SILURIAN ENDURENCE' ALTHOUGH I NEVER WENT ALONG WITH THAT 'VIVA REPUBLICA CIVATUS SILURIA' STUFF! SOME ''SELL OUT'' PRO ROMAN Silurian QUISLING COLLABORATORS ACCEPTED BUT WHAT THE
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...IT WAS A SAD DAY WHEN THE ROMANS CONQUORED US AND, MADE US LIVE ROMAN LIKE! WEARING TOGAS! DRINKING WINE! AND EATING OF MUD DRIED PLATES! AND HAVING TO EAT STUFFED MICE AND RABITS? AS FOR THEIR BLOODY FANATISM ABOUT BATHS ALL THE TIME AND CENTRAL HEATING! THE YEARS WERE BAD BELIEVE ME, THE ONLY THING THAT WAS ANY GOOD, WAS THEIR ROADS BUT WE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO USE THEM? THE ROMANS SAID OUR CHARIOTS WERE SUB - STANDARD AND NOT SUITABLE TO USE ON THEIR ROADS!
.
I STUCK JUST THREE YEARS OF ALL THIS ROMAN RUBBISH BUT THEN I HAD ENOUGH AND SCURRIED OFF TO LIVE AMONGST THE PWCA UP IN THE MOUNTAINS IN THE NORTHERN OUTLAND OF 'OLD SILURIA', THERE I FOUND PEACE WITH THE PWCA AND I JOINED THEM AND FROM TIME TO TIME WE HAD GREAT FUN RAIDING ROMAN VILLAS IN THE SOUTHLANDS. THE PWCA JUST WANTED TO ROB AND TRASH UP! ME? WELL TO BE HONEST I JUST WANTED TO KILL EM! AS WAS ONCE TRADITIONAL TO ALL SILURIANS; MAN, WOMEN & CHILD ERE TAUGHT TO KILL AT LEAST ONE ROMAN A DAY WHERE EVER THEY WERE FOUND TO BE, WHAT's WRONG THAT? AFTER ALL THEY STANK OF OLIVES AND VINEGAR ANYWAY!
.
HOWEVER, THEY HAVE NOW LEFT, YIPPEE THE ROMANS ARE LEAVING! BUT I AM ON THE LOOK OUT FOR STRAGGLERS FROM SOME PLACE THEY CALL SGONTIUM ? I HAD INTENDED TO DO OVER CAERLEON BUT SOME 'RENEGADE ROMANISED RAT' GOT THERE FIRST AND HE'S A BIT OF A CHRISTIAN NUT CALLED ATHUR? AND IT IS SAID THAT HE HAS IT IN FOR US WHO FOLLOW THE OLD RELIGION. THEY SAY, HE AND HIS GANG OF ROUND TABLE TOGA LOVING LOONIES ARE DAMNED DANGEROUS, SO I THOUGHT BETTER TO PUT SOME DISTANCE BETWEEN ME AND THEM! MYSELF, AM A BIT OUT OF TIME AND PLACE REALLY, I MEAN NO ONE PAINTS THEMSELVES UP ANY MORE BUT I AM A BIT 'RETRO', THAT'S WHY I CONSIDER VORTIGEN HAS HAVING THE EDGE OVER THIS ARTHUR FELLA!
