Pwca Power Protest - Honorary Awards are given to those Protesters/Protests that are carried out in the best spirit of Pwca Power. Such must be carried out with some creative, informative and entertaining 'non - threatening/non - violent' ways and means. In Pwca Lore, it is told that down thru the centuries Pwca were driven into the undergrowth and dark corners by various invading oppressors as Beaker folk, Iberians, Celts and Cymru, Saxons, Normans and English. Pwca were ever pushed into the dark woods, and inhospitable places. To hide in trees and caves, ever competing with ''pesky fairies', ''Envious Elves'' and the terrorist 'Tyllwyth Teg'. Pwca had to compete for every little corner of our contracting and diminishing ''Pwca Patches'', little wonder we became irritible, grumpy and cantancorus. To make matters worse, the Invaders began chopping down our trees and enclosing our wastelands, then came roads and trains with bloody tourists crawling and climbing over our mountain retreats. Could it get worse, you bet it did, we had thought 'agricultralisation' was bad enough but we learnt how to take advantage of that but then came 'Industrialisation'. The end product of this, what they are calling an age of ''Post Industrialism'' which in reality means more on coming destruction of what's left of our Pwca Patches with open casts and bloody windmills. Our Pwca Peace of mind is being disturbed by the disapearence of our environment, not that it had been worth much, but we had made it our own homelands, now there is no escape? unless Pwca Protest! However, Pwca are small and centuries of invasion and oppression as made of us, well! Cowards? We had long ago learnt it best not to go about our life, work and trade by light of day, we even become afeared of the full moon. No! Werewolves and Vampires don't scare us, we had learnt to duck and dive them but poachers with weapons and traps they were another matter. This is why we learnt to creep around carefull by the half light of but a slither of moon light. It had least made it possible in time for us to see in the dark and be good at feeling away around, often very profitable for Pwca in more ways that one, if you get my drift? Whatever, the slither of moon has become very much a symbol of Pwca Survival down thrugh the ages, so it is fitting we make this the 'Iconic Symbol' of Pwca Power Protest Award. In this post given to those protestors mentioned in this Pwca Post, their protest and these awards, we hope will encourage more and more Pro - Pwca freindly humans to protest in this way and as often as possible.
